I received a phonecall yesterday from a Psycotherapist - a Specialist anyway.

I phoned a couple of companies within that sector and only that man has replied.

The problem is he told me it would cost £90. I'm unemployed so how can I afford it?
He also told me that I'd be put on a waiting list and wouldn't be able to have a session until early next year and the sessions would be two days every week.

I've been told i need a Refferal from my Doctor.

You can ask the GP for a referral on the NHS instead and it won't cost anything. The waiting list could be long though.

Ask the GP if he would refer you and then he will add you to the list and should be able to give you some guidelines on how long it will take.
