Drug Treatment for OCD

Hi guys,
I was wondering if any one had any persoanl experience about using a particular drug to help with OCD,any type of anti-depressant or specific drug. I'm not really sure that it is OCD,I have obsessional thoughts and act compulsively sometimes but its not quite as extreme as some of the symptoms I read about,I do have contamination problems and sometimes handwash compulsively but not to a degree where I spend hours doing it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.BTw I'm on Efexor and Xanax at the moment but will probably start on Anafranil.

I've been on Lexipro (to treat depression, not OCD) and now am on Paxil, which has helped some, but definitely not as much as I'd like.

I haven't had too much experience with medications, but I'd say whatever seems to be working you should stick with. Have you talked to your doctor or therapist about OCD?
