How long til meds kick in??

I am been put on 50mg of dolusipin a day for severe health anxiety/depression and have been taking them for about 10 days now... so far have noticed no difference in my state apart from being tired all the time, however they r meant to be picking me appertite up as im am only down to 6 and a half stone now..? was wondering how long is normal for meds to really kick in? :scared15:

you start to feel an effect from antidepressants from between 4 and 8 weeks generally, but its different for everyone. The clinical trial period is 8 weeks I think and doctors will keep you on an antidepressant for a minimum of 6 months after the last symptoms have presented themselves.

though I must admit ive not heard of that particular med.
