Hi all,

I had last week off of work which gave me too much time to think about anxiety! I get the tight throat and have to get up early with the IBS, but, twice now (and it starts with the tight throat) I've been heaving and I can't stop myself vomitting (not a huge amount, but still a bit worrying...has anyone else had this, and if so, how can you stop it?

Unfortunately where it grabs me where I'm still half asleep by the time I think of stopping it via breathing etc its too late!! Any advice greatly appreciated as its worrying me a bit...thanks v much, Vxxxx

Try very carbonated drinks - tonic/soda water- big swigs and try to get a few burps going which will relieve the heavings.
