out of date citalopram

hi everyone,
im a bit worried today because i think i had 10mg of citalopram on monday which was passed its expiry date.
the expiry dates just relate to their effectiveness dont they? nothing adverse can happen if meds are out of date?

no dont worry its how out of date are they? if they are only recently out of date there shouldnt be a problem, I think with meds they are given a use by date, but they must have a bit of life after that, and i would think they wont do you any harm just may not be as effective can you not get a new prescription?
