Struggling

I don't often ask for support here but I could really do with some positive thoughts, my daughter is ill in hospital and I am staying strong on the outside but feel awful inside.

I'm sure she will be ok but I hate seeing her unwell like this, it has scared me, although I would never admit to that outside of NMP.

Its dreadful seeing our children unwell and as a parent myself I know you'd take her illness on yourself if you could.

Theres no shame in admitting that you are scared, anyone would be in your situation so try not to be to hard on yourself.

I'm sure, as you say, she will be well soon but sending you a massive hug to keep you going :bighug1:

im sorry to hear that your daughter is ill, but she is in the best place to get the care and treatment that she needs, then when she comes home some TLC. right now its you that needs some TLC, so that you can then in turn support her, its horrible when someone in your family is ill, particularlt your children, no matter if they are 4 or 44.
look after yourself and here is a big hug for you :bighug1:.
Hopefully she will be on the mend soon.

To all of you..words aren't enough but thank you so much.
This has been a very difficult week for us as she was so ill, it was a heck of a shock. She is feeling much better now and although she is still has an IV and catheter and other such lovely things, she is definitely on the mend albeit slowly.
