Flouxetine

Heyy guys, just a quick question... I've been on Flouextine, well it will be 2 weeks on monday.. i really fancy having a drink tonight.. Vodka and Apple Juice.. would anyone suggest its a good idea? Is it safe ? Any help will be appreciated x :noangel:

ok i asked the doc about this when i went on prozac he said that drinking in moderation was ok so dont think a few would hurt just dont over do it i think the most i've drunk on them is 3 cans of lager

As long as you don't drink to excess you'll be fine :)

Yeah, it just makes the alcohol more potent so as long you don't overdo it, it'll be fine.

My Dr said that it was best to avoid alcohol if at all possible as it can be a depressive and dehydrates you all of which could make your situation worse especially as you are still settling in on the meds.
