Hi Guys, haven't been here for a while.

I was wondering how those who have lost Jobs recently are coping?
It's been 5 months for me, doing lots of DIY, keeping busy most of the time.

Hi Dave:)

Blimey long time no chat!!!!

I dident work for 2 years and kinda got into a nice cosy routine!!!

Sleep in, watch telly, cook dinner etc etc!!!

Back at work now and boy I would kill for some kip lol!!!

Just keep hunting mate....bit of thinking outside the box maybe???

I ended up being an undertaker:roflmao:

Hi Kazzie, good to hear from you:yesyes:

Yep it's all too easy to slip into apathy mode.

Glad you are still in your Job, I expect you will always have plenty of customers:blush:

I'll be ok, something will turn up.

cheers

Im sure something will turn up for you. There are jobs out there but alot of them are not what we want to do. I used to work as a home carer full time, i loved it but had to give it up due to my health. Now i work part time for a well known loan company, i work 2 evenings a week and have to go in the office for an hour on a thursday. Its not a job that i would have picked but ive grown to like it and its good money. Its actually quite easy to get a job with them, my friend works for them so she got me the job. Hope you find a job soon.

Hi Sarah, good to hear from you.
Glad you are settled in your Job, big changes for me I expect for the future.

I was in electronics but nothing around now, I did an ECDL Course (European Computer Driving Licence), kept me busy for two months.

take care
