Hello everyone!

Hi there,

I'm new to all this forum stuff and posting things on the internet, so please bare with me! I'm 18 years old, and I've been suffering from quite severe Social Anxiety Disorder/Social Phobia for about 6 years. I've been taking Citalopram for about a year to help with the anxiety, and since starting university (just two weeks ago), I've had my dose increased from 40mg to 50mg. Also since starting uni, I've been prescribed propranolol (a beta blocker) to try and control some of the physical sensations. I've also had a course of CBT, which had limited usefulness.

I don't think i've ever quite had the social anxiety 'under control', but since i've come to uni things have got worse (hence the dose increase of citalopram)
