hi everyone, I'm Ricardo and I'm 26. I suffer from panic attacks since 2006 ( I think:blush:). It all started with a chest pain; I felt dizzy and thought I was having a heart attack. I went to the cardiologist and he said my heart was fine (after a electrocardiogram and Holter). I'm on Lexapro and Cloxazolam now, they've helped enough. Panic's affected my life and became routine for me. I think I'll have to live with it. :shrug:

:welcome:Ricardo. You will find comfort and support here. There is some great advice along the left hand side of this page. There is a brilliant book by Dr Claire Weekes;SELF HELP FOR YOUR NERVES ISBN 0-7225-3155-9.This is available from the NMP shop. Dr Weekes was a fellow sufferer who really understood this illness. She took the mystery out of it, and devised a simple programme for recovery. I can't recommend this enough. This will get better.
