View Full Version : fast heart beat whilst sleeping in bed?
i have gone to bed feeling bit out of sorts. My heart beat feels faster than normal, and i feel quite light and jittery. I have now woken up, feel worse with my heart beating around 90 bpm. Is this ok?

Hi Becky
Looks like your offline, I hope this means that you are in bed asleep:)
If you are feeling out of sorts, maybe have an infection, this can make your heart beat faster. Also 90bpm is in the normal range of between 60 & 100bpm. And of course the anxiety will make your heart beat faster:mad: Try not to worry, it is quite normal. Have a good sleep, perhaps tomorrow you will be feeling better:)
