If your heart beat is normal and you are not panicking, how can you
still get the feeling of unreality?
Because this is happening to me a lot. especially with bright colour.

thanks for all previous answers.

Colin,

It is likely that although you are not actually panicking, your anxiety levels are still raised. This causes the feelings of unreality.

Hi Colin,
I agree with Kate, remember the anxiety comes from our brain, when we think about something we worry about, we become anxious, we don't always need to get the quickened heart rate, or any other of the big symptoms.

Take care

Energy follows thought.

Thought can be fear about a physical symptom or just an abstract thought. If the thought scares you the body will follow and create physical fear.

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.
