I've just dug out this book which I bought a few years ago but never fully read. Its called "Its Not All In Your Head" by Gordon J G Asmundson and Steven Taylor. The front cover says - How worrying about your health could be making you sick, and what you can do about it. It talks about how we misinterpret bodily sensations and how we can break the cycle. I never got round to doing the "exercises" but it certainly explains exactly the way us HA sufferers think and feel.

It might just help somebody so it is worth a look. I am certainly going to read it again.

I also have this book but i found the 'index' abit confusing:blush:Everything refers to something else:blush:i like to look in the index and find the page asap (no patience).
Other wise a VERY good book. WE know it is 'not all in our heads' but no one seems to listen - it usually ends up with ""take these tablets for a couple of weeks and see how you are then......""
does not instill much confidence.
Best wishes
June
