We all had the vaccine on the 29th but it takes 10 days to be effective and in the meantime we spent all day in the emerg having them checked out. We were all given tamiflu to take and I had only given it to my youngest who was showing the most symptoms. Well the bad side effect is nausea and vomitting which she did shortly after having the tamiflu. So I did not give her another dose. It is easier to deal with fevers than fevers, and vomiting with the chance of her getting dehydrated from being sick.
The amount of people at the ER being diagnosed was scary. It truly is everywhere. I am hoping and praying that no one in my house gets too ill and will recover quickly.
So remember once u have that needle it doesnt kick in for 10 days so you are still at risk!!!!!
