Hi everyone,

I wondered if I could start taking 5-HTP whilst taking subscribed medication from the doctor (Lustral) I have been taking a while and it doesn't seem to be helping much. I am coming of it with the help of my GP. I know that I need to come of the Lustral very slowly, so it is going to take some time. I have read some good reports about 5-HTP in magazines and on this site. I am going to handle my anxiety with diet and supplements. I also thought about Omega 3, and anything else that would help a fifty something woman with Hot Flushes that are driving me mad at the moment. Any ideas would be gratfully appreciated.

Thanks

I havent tried 5-HTP but I do take Omega 3 fish oils everyday and there is definitley a difference. They are good for other things as well such as heart and circulation etc. So even if they arent that helpful with your anxiety it will certainly help improve your health.
