I will be starting self help CBT using work book from 17 November, so sadly I won't be logging into NMP much.

Looking forward to keeping in touch with you all in December or after.

Good luck, but don't neglect NMP altogether. It's okay to get support and reassurance here even when you're receiving therapy elsewhere.

I started CBT today, using a work book.

Had a short amount of time this morning alone, so I decided to read through and complete the first written excerise in the work book.

I was given a note book a few months ago which I have been writing in for CBT.

The CBT workbook for dummies I highly recommend.

Hi ju.ann, I am very interested to see you are using CBT and wondered if you are seeing a CBT counsellor, I am moving to the York area soon, and had CBT when I was last living in the UK. I found it really helpful and would like to find a counsellor again.
Hope it is continuing to help you, thanks,

I have just completed Chapter one.

Feel like I have got a long way to go yet but I'm glad I'm trying to accept that avoidance isn't something I need to get fed up about. I still need to sort it out though.
