View Full Version : Will Cipramil help with the dizziness?

I have been on Cipramil for 3 weeks now, but my dizziness seems to have been worse ie more consistent than before. And of course I had a big panic attack this afternoon. I know that this could be a side effect of the medication too but thought- maybe naively so - that this would have calmed down by now.

I was wondering how long I should expect the meds to take to kick in. This dizziness is killing me - it occupies my mind all day long and I have a 5 year old and a 6 month old to care for who deserve my attention. I am also worried that they will pick up on my anxiety.

Hi Leigh,

Anxiety symptoms can be increased in the first weeks of taking meds. Normally it is up to 6 weeks before things start to settle down.

Dizzyness is a very big anxiety symptom, give it a few more weeks and hopefully things will start to improve for you.

Just stay positive and focused that really helps too.

Take care

Thank you so much. It is very reassuring.

I guess we all want the quick fix in order to get rid of this nightmare.
