I seem to have alot of flem left over from a cold, all stuck in my throat...
And I just coughed and now when I breathe in, my throat feels really tight. It's scaring me to death. Please tell me someone else has experieced simelar.....
I'm trying not to go into a panic attack.. but its slowly coming on :'(

i have had same thing for 3 weeks its not nice dont panic its all the stuff that in sinuses going down back of throat it builds up not nice doter gave me med to break it up ,,she wasn't worried not gone on my chest ,,you could buy some menthol crystals sniff them you put them in boiling water they seem to help

You'll be alright. Could try having a hot shower, it always seems to help clear my nose and throat, it'd probably help relax you too.

If you do cough anything up, spit it out rather than swallow it back down. Sometimes I try and get upside down by leaning over a chair or the edge of the bed with my head down near the floor, put a tissue on the floor and cough up mucus into it. Pretty disgusting to watch but it works.
