I seem to be having a hard time again today.
I've got an ache, kind of painful, and some pins and needles in my left arm and leg. It's mainly in my hand. I've been coping fairly well lately. Well, better than at first. But I'm starting to get a bit panicky today and I'm thinking the worst.

I know my heart is fine and healthy, I've had plenty of tests. But I'm still having a lot of trouble convincing myself that all of these aches and pains are anxiety related.

I think I'm going to go to the shops, have a bit of a walk and find something else to distract myself with when I get back.

Just had to share my thoughts, that's all. :)

Good idea.

Wave them about , catch a ball, grip a cuddly toy or something very tightly. Use those limbs..

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Thanks for the links. I naughtily got a couple of cheap CDs from the shops to cheer myself up a bit! :) I was okay in the shops, a little anxious but generally okay.

The distraction worked really well until I got home and I got a little bit wheezy. I'm asthmatic, so this doesn't usually bother me, but this time something made my body react by panicking! I guess I could feel one coming on, it was only mild, but the worst seems to be over now.

I'm just a little annoyed at myself for letting it get that far. I could see it coming, yet I still couldn't stop it. Sometimes this is so frustrating.

No point being annoyed ..use the energy instead to help yourself with comfort and compassion

What can you learn about todays experiences to help you if there is a next time..
