Propranolol combined with fluoxetine?

Does anyone have any experience of combined therapy with propranolol and fluoxetine?

I have taken fluoxetine for many years with success, but after a little wobble my gp would like to try me on propranolol 80mg mr daily in addition

Hi Lisa,

I take both and feel they benefit me in different ways, although it is quite hard to explain how exactly. I think the prop gives me something else on top of the fluox, probably best described as helping me stay calm when stressed and anxious. I only take 3x10mg a day but have done so for years and really notice if I miss a dose.

From my experience, I'd definitely say it's worth giving it a try.
