If you're worrying about these illnesses is it highly unlikely you have them or are developing them?

You often here about people who suffer from them denying anything is wrong with them e.t.c

I think that is mostly true. I think what is important is to touch base with those that are close to you. I dont think you will ever have someone claiming to be schizophrenic or bi-polar and those closest to him would say "naww, you're totally fine!" It just doesnt work that way. When someone is truly mentally ill they cannot hide it from those close to them.
