Been suffering with this quite bad for the last few weeks.

It fuels that thought that I could be going mad.

Anyway. One of the only ways I can deal with it is to lay on my bed and try to fall asleep. Today for example I read a bit of m ook and then drifted off a bit.

Does anyone know if it's dangerous to deal with it like this?

Kind Regards,
John.

Hey john,
often the cause of this is due to brain fag..being overtired. Sleeping will do you good and no harm whatsoever. Also keeping yourself busy helps too so you dont dwell on it too much. Whatever works for you really.

Thanks for the reply.

So i can't make things worse by trying to sleep it off?

I had DP for a few years, its gone now but i still can get it a bit when i'm tired and as soon as i've had a good sleep I feel a lot better. I dont think sleep does any harm in the slightest.

Thanks for the reply.

I think this is the worst smptom of anxiety for me.

It leads me to question just about everything, Is this real? Am I real? Then if I think about the past is that real? Did it actually happen?

I keep thinking maybe I have depersonalization disorder rater than anxiety but I think the fact that I worry about it shows it's more anxiety?

It's just so hard to battle the thoughts that you're going mad.

John.
