View Full Version : One for the Ladies

Being new to all this, I was wondering how all the anxious ladies out there are affected by their menstrual cycle.

Most of us get some form of PMT, so how does this affect our vulnerability to anxiety?

I have just had a few good days, then yesterday felt the usual anxiety symptoms and spent the day crying on and off. However, my period started today and I feel a lot better already (apart from the pain but even that is nice and "normal" for me, therefore not anxiety-inducing - conversely, I find it rather comforting!).

Can I expect to have more bad days around that time of the month? It's not a problem, I think I just need to be aware.

What do you all think?

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.
How big is your gallery ?

I don't suffer as much as I used to since I had to go back on the pill for troublesome periods!!!

Agnus castus was recommended to me once (but you need to take it for a year along with the usual eve primrose oil).

Love Piglet :)

"Supposing a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?" said Piglet.
"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.

Hi ya

I use Star flower oil! I was reluctant to start with but I am telling you it worked a treat, now instead of being what is known as "The bitch from hell" I am now the woman who is on one !

Beats the nasty names I do agree though that once it arrives the anxiety does tend to reduce somewhat in comparison to seven days before !

Thanks for your replies.

I suppose it was obvious really! Anyhow, I'm still feeling ok so now I know what to expect I'm better prepared for next time too.

Forewarned is forearmed as they say...
