My Sister

My sister who I am only 13 months older is gravely ill with double pneumonia, bronchial asthma and the flu. She has been in ICU since Sunday. When she was admitted her lips, fingers and toes were blue from lack of oxygen. She lives across the country and I feel so helpless. My Mother is out there with her now and only has limited visiting hours! My sister can't even talk :weep:. As all of you know, I'm here with my anxiety wringing my hands, not sleeping and thinking of the worst. Please, if you will, pray for her recovery for the doctors say it will be a long one.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Right now she is still the same and both my Mom and Dad are with her. She is basically on life support my Dad said last night except no tube, she has a special tight oxygen mask instead as she can't breathe without it. The doctors said to take it day by day.

I am a complete zombie, my husband did four loads of laundry yesterday and folded them and I didn't even notice. Total zombie!

Thank you all so very much. She is getting better! She is now on 70% oxygen! I now see hope around the corner. We are so blessed. Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts, I know they have helped.
