Hiya
Hope you're all ok?
I'm sat here typing this and i'm nervous as hell. For a few days i've been suffering with the same old symptom of pins and needles and pains in my left arm. This morning however i'm suffering with chest pain too :(. It seems to be on my left side near my breast and the pain I would describe as someone sticking needles into me.
I know this is probably anxiety but i've made an appointment at the doctors for 10.15 today as i'm sick and tired of feeling so grotty all the time.
I know that some of you have probably suffered same as me but unfortunately when its happening to you you think you're the only person in the world who's got it......if that makes any sense.
Anyway i'll let you know what happens.
Thanks for reading
Take care
Tracy

hi

Hope all goes well for you at the doctors. Please let us know how you got on.

It is true when it is happening to you then you do feel your alone with it.

I have had the same thing as your suffering and it was part and parcel of the horrid anxiety.

good luck at doctors

Hi Tracy

Sorry youre feeling rough today, im sure the doctor will reassure you that its nothing to worry about, but when has that ever stopped us? lol

i sometimes get small shooting pains if im anxious, mine are a bit like electric shocks or jolts and even though i know that its only anxiety rearing its ugly head again it still makes me think that somethings wrong this time.

good luck at the doctors hun, hope you feel better soon

Thanks for all your replies. Sorry I didn't get chance to get back on the computer.
Well the outcome was that because I had had a bad cold a couple of weeks back and because i'm still coughing (smoking doesn't help [Duh!]) that the chest pain was probably caused by this and that my muscles in chest are going into cramp (not totally sure if I believe him). The pins and needles in my left arm are more than likely caused by the fact that cause i've coughed so much i've probably jarred my neck, trapping a nerve. I have to admit that when the doctor was pressing around my neck and shoulder area I did start to feel tingling in my arm.

Well I'm still here lol I've not had the chest pain today but i'm still having trouble with the arm.

Hunny......Hope you got on ok at the doctors yesterday.

Thanks for taking the time out to read this.
Take care
Tracy

Hi Trac, not often i get to give advice, but the fear you have is that, maybe you have heart problems? If so, can i maybe put your mind at rest a wee bit. I have the misfortune to have to live with heart disease, and although the symptoms of the tingling arm, and the tight chest can be associated with the heart, believe me, it doesnt stop there. If the heart is involved
the tingling turns to an unbearable ache, the tightness in the chest turns to a massive vice that crushes your chest into your spine(thats how it feels) but long before then you have turned grey, felt sick, and lost all cohesion in your thinking, plus, your lips have turned blue and you know what is happening, there is no mistaking it, believe me. I havent told you this to frighten you, its to remove some of the fear from what you are feeling. i have lived through three of them, and there is no other feeling or pain like it. Take care. John x
