Hi Ladies.I was wondering if anyone has problems with incontinence???

I have this slight problem, sometimes when I sneeze I pass a little bit of wee:ohmy::blush::blush::blush::blush::blush::blush :now I haven't had children so I know its not that,is there anyone with this problem who haven't had children.

My gp once told me I have a tilted womb, could this be part of the problem!!!!!!

Im 43 and I know as we ladies get older things age:whistles:I have heard it can be caused by other thing's such as heavy lifting ect,is this so?

Hi yes i do have a similar prob but have had children ( maybe that did not help )

I would not continue to ignore it as there is treatment that can relief this prob ask your GP to refer you to the apprpriate clinic

Hi
I was 50 earlier in the year and yes this has started to happen to me too, (oh the things us ladies have to put up with):)
I don't even have to sneeze, cough or any other such thing, I only have to think oh i need a wee and i've started to go TUT!
But I'm not worrying about it as i have been told as we get older this happens, something to look forward too ladies......not!

My neighbour had the same problem - also no kids - her problems had been going on for quite a while. She was refered to a specialist had a botox injection - problem solved!!.

There is physiotherapy that can help too - exercises to strengthen the muscles. Your GP should be able to arrange a referral.

You need to do those pelvic floor exercises to strenghten the muscles and that is supposed to help too.

I know people who have had this although I have not. I have had three children and the main difference I have found between myself and my friends who have had this problem is that I have (since having my first child 19 years ago) done pelvic floor exercises. I really do think they work.

I have found that you should be able to stop wee while its flowing but I can no longer do this,I seem to clench my bum cheeks:roflmao:

Hope it's just us ladies reading this!

Try putting a tampon just into the entrance of your vagina. Then tighten your muscles and try to draw it into you. These are the muscles you need to be working to tighten the urethra too (where the wee comes from). That should remind your brain which muscles you are trying to work.

Good luck!:hugs:
