I felt not bad last couple of days but today feel terrible, no energy, feel sick and chronic indigestion and what feels like a hangover! I'm meant to be at work tues but wondering if I will feel better by then? I am on day 3 and feeling very unsettled.

I am on 20mg a day.

Afraid everyone is different and also might depend on how much the dose is. I am on 10mg and this took 2 weeks to kick in with minimal side effects. Three days is not really long enough to decide one way or the other.:bighug1:Hope you feel better soon.

The worst of mine went after 3-4 weeks... but I also changed the way I took them around then, which helped a lot. I've now just gone back to my old method of taking my full 20mg in the morning instead of splitting it and taking half later, and so far the side effects have remained manageable.

Check my Citalopram Survival Guide for more info about side effects. The very worst of my side effects took 3-4 weeks to settle down, but my increased anxiety remained until week 6, when I felt well enough to start talking about my problems.
