View Full Version : Women Only! - Menstrual Cycle
Sorry if this has been posted but have any of you ladies developed irregular menstrual cycles since experiencing panic/anxiety? Surprisingly I haven't but my period is about 3 - 4 days apart sometimes but my doctor tells me this is not irregular. I only skipped one time in my life and that was last year when my father almost died and I saw how extreme stress did it. I am always stressed and anxious but thank goodness I am still getting my periods. Also, since developing my anxiety issues I DO notice it is even worse though right before my period. I feel like my PMS has gotten worse from this! Anyone else in the same boat and just curious if anyone has had menstrual disruptions from their panic/anxiety??
my periods have always been regular never missed one unless i was pregrant but i do get really bad anxiety when im due and i do get bad pmt i want to kill everyone not very nice.
thikn it all to do with hormoes and most woman get this.
Hi, my periods used to be on the dot but since having anxiety mine are a few days here or there from my due date. Im not worried about it though. Got plenty of other things to keep my anxiety levels high. Grrrr. :D

I've been a little worried about this too, I always used to go 32 days. But now my periods can be a few days early or late.
I've just started mine now, i was meant to start on Thurday but came on Saturday night instead.
I have panic an anxiety every day, and usually have a panic attack but not sure if my cycle is affected by this.
I haven't missed 1 yet though x
Thanks ladies for your replies! Sounds like we are all pretty much the same when it comes to Aunt Flow :)
Mine too are a few days apart but thank goodness (knock on wood) they haven't disappeared! I will say though that I am a psycho woman now during PMS. Always had PMS but now it is way worse since anxiety started for me.
Thanks for reassuring me! xx
