A few weeks ago I went to the docs complaining of upper stomach/lower chest pains and generally feeling lousy every day. I was convinced I had some form of cancer, and still do, because I only feel 'normal' about 10% of the time.

I wake up feeling crap, headachey, pvcs, blurry eyed, chest/stomach pains. This comes on and off all day with a host of other symptoms eg shortness of breath, shooting head pains, dizzy spells.

Then in the evening I feel the worst. It starts around 4pm and continues til bedtime.

Anyway, the doc ordered all manner of blood tests, ALL of which turned out normal.

My question is, given that these have proved I'm not anaemic, haven't had a heart attack, white cells etc all normal,

DOES THIS MEAN I CAN STOP WORRYING ABOUT HAVING CANCER????

Blood tests themselves don't rule out all forms of cancer, with the exception of Leukemia and some of the many types of Lymphoma, although having a full blood panel ( CBC w/differential ) can point out to your Doctor that something may be wrong. It varies on the cancer, really.
But nonetheless you can stop worrying about having cancer anyhow, because all your symptoms are pretty common with you name it..ANXIETY!
