Stomache Shrinking

My wife has noticed that my stomache seems to be shrinking mainly at my sides.
Anyone know if this is normal I have lost weight much easier since August this year when I started with changes in my bowel habits.
Still I see the gastro/colrectal doctor in the morning.

Thats a good thing right? Mine shrank then it has come back a bit but im working on it getting it down again.. I really don't keep track of bowel habits.. a little much for me.. but then again when I haven't used the bathroom in awhile it bothers me.. Michael
