Red face after alcohol

Hi, just wondered if anyone else gets a hot red face after having some alcohol?
I rarely drink because of this, but had a lager tonight as have been feeling alot better recently, and after just a couple of swigs had a hot face!!
I understand that alcohol can make anxiety worse, and am by no means a drinker, but i am going away at weekend and i feel i need to get over my fear of this and go for a drink in a club, would just like to hear if anyone else gets this and what do you do about it?

My housemate gets this constantly with alchohol and hes never suffered from anxiety. He especially gets it from spirits.

I just needed to know it was ok! I have no plans to go and get drunk but will feel better knowing now that it is quite common, and that i will be ok if i do have a drink and it happens.
