Chest and Back pain

Ive had a bad cold and Now ive got a bad cough. Im starting to really panicky my chest is hurting and so is my back. Im on the edge of having a really bad panic attack. keep thinking its something serious like a heart attack or something really bad keep checking my pulse and checking on line. PLus I keep getting a hard lump in my throat Is it normal for your chest and back to hurt with a cough??

I hate anextiy :-(( Why is it you can have good weeks then BANG one thing can make you feel so bad again:weep: xx

Hi. Sorry you are not feeling to good.
Yes you chest and back can hurt if you have a bad cough. I have recently recovered from flu and it was agony when I coughed.
It could be a chest infection, congestion or maybe you have strained the muscles while coughing.
If it continues it will be best to see your doctor in case you need Antibiotics.
