pain in shoulder and neck

hi all

I have had a sharp pain in my shoulder everytime i raise it for the last few months, and my neck feels painful and stiff from time to time throughout the day. getting worried it may be something serious.

Hiya I have been exactly the same and after reading a load of rubbish on the net I went proding round my neck only to find a huge lump!!!
As a sufferer from severe health anxiety panick set in, I went to the docs who ref' me to an ENT Consultant, to cut a very long story short I was convinced I had the big C. At my visit they did a load of tests and and it turns out the pain in my shoulders, neck and arms is caused by a cervical rib in my neck, (basically I was born with an extra rib) very strange ehh lol!!

any way the point I was trying to make is don't worry too much about the pain just check things with your doc.

I too have that.. I get these weird symptoms pains, twitches and weird feelings.. all anxiety but a pain sometimes that last forever.. here and there..Michael
