Tiny pea spot

I have a tiny bump next to my right ear,i'm scared at what it is,when i press on it it hurts a bit.

Sounds like an ordinary spot .Ive had them ,they can be caused by not rinsing soap off properly .It will go so try not to keep poking it ,it will make it sore ..Sue

I have TMJ also. I have the same hardened bump on my left side. In all my life, I don't think I've ever chewed on the right side of my mouth. I also always lean against my fist when I am at the computer. Doctor says I've overworked my left side in my 27 years of chewing. I try to chew on the other side. I also grind my teeth a lot awake and asleep, along with jaw clenching. I never knew I did it until recently, now I catch myself all the time and have decreased those horrible habits incredibly. I no longer get headaches, jaw pain, etc.

Are you a one-sided chewer? Is it on that side?

Hi chrisi I had a small pea like lump just below the back of my head. It hurt when I pressed it. I went to the drs and he pressed it and it popped. Turns out that it was a tiny sebaceous cyst. It had a shell like casing. He said it might return. It hasn't. hope things work out well for you.
