Hi, ummm, I'm new, found your site via google. I've not been diagnosed as having any condition but, I having been doing some research on the net and I seem to fit the health anx bill, in fact reading about it has made me feel a lot calmer.

If I can't be a glowing example, I'll be a nasty warning.

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Thanks very much, I have read some of the links you have provided and its like reading my own story. I keep wanting to say or do keep saying to myself that this can't be whats happening to me, I hold down a responsible job, I have three children, run a home, look after my Mum. I want to say "I don't do drama" [:I]

I've been going through hell for the last two years, laying awake at night frightened to go to sleep in case I don't wake up, feel stupid and not being able to share my feelings with my Husband or family as I don't think they will understand.

Convinced I am going to have a heartattack or that I have a huge tumour growing in my side.

I have been diagonosed with Diabetes this week which I have looked up on the internet and now feel that I am going to go blind. It sounds so stupid now I've typed my feelings out and I am reading them back. To be honest i could sit here and cry.

Hi Cariad

A warm welcome aboard.

Just wondering if you have seen a doctor about your issues atall and had any tests etc done?

Well I've been going back and forth for a while, I had pains in my chest first off and went to the doctors who said there was nothing wrong, they checked my blood pressure, listened to my chest, did pulse etc. I went back another few times and nothing wrong.

I then had blood tests to check cholesterol and blood sugars and the blood sugars were high, so was referred to the hospital for a glucose intolerance test, went back to the doctors last week to get the result which confirmed diabetes.

The doctor did mention a while back that maybe I was having panic attacks re the chest pain.

I didn't tie it in to be honest until I saw an article on TV and it sound just like me.

I've lost a lot of people over the last five years some quite suddenly.

Is it normal to be diagnosed for anxciety
