Armpit Pain, lumps and bumps

Hi just got a couple of questions regarding armpit anatomy.

I can always feel a vague bump when i put my arms in the air, in the centre of the pit!, is that the sweat gland and there is one in each armpit, or should you not feel anything.

If a lymph was raised is there a certain area in the armpit where it is?

Am a bit worried, my left armpit hurts today, I can feel a bump under both, but it seems to be hurting more the outer edge on the backside, wondering if its more of a strain.......

I have that and I presume it is completely normal as I have always had it. I actually had my armpits checked a week ago as part of a breast check by the doc and he said they were absolutely fine
