Oh god yes, its very common. Do they feel like a machine gun? Ive had every type of palp going and have ended up in A&E far too many times to remember, but the good thing is, im always being told ive a strong healthy heart. After 19 years of them, two nervous breakdowns due to them, counseling, CBT, 7 ecg's, 2 24 hour ecg's and seeing a heart specialist i have now finally managed to ignore them and they have gone from all day everyday to maybe one a week. Being strong and not afraid is the hardest thing but its so worth it:yesyes:

I've had thousands of them on a daily basis too. But honestly, the best way to cope with them is to try and carry on with your everyday life. They are a nuisance, but harmless. The more you worry about them the more they happen, without a doubt.

I had a day once where it was pretty much all day, makes you keep coughing as well I find.
