Eye glasses and sight/Blurry - lights hurt

I need glasses (minor eye probs) and had them years ago. My last pair broke and I dont really like wearing them (and contacts no good) and so I never got another pair.

I noticed tonight (more lately even in the day) that my eyes were affected by lights and got sore and I wanted to sleep. My head has also been feeling terrible lately like it wants to explode.

Could this be in part as I need glasses and so my eyes are straining?

I know the answer is to get glassses again and wear them as it cant hurt but pondering that maybe this is a major cause of my anxiety of late?
