View Full Version : The worst case yet...
Hi,
I think this is the most helpful and honest site that I have found on-line related to panic&anxiety. I am 25 yrs old and have had panic attacks for about 5 years now...and recently started feeling general anxiety on a daily basis. I truly believe that I have the worst case of panic/anxiety. I am always pre-occupied by my anxiety and feel faint and dizzy 95% of the day. Feeling faint and chest pain are my 2 biggest symptoms...
Anyways, I find it really helpful to have a place like this where I can read about how others cope and where I can realize that I am not the only one...
Thanks
Mathilda
Welcome aboard, Mathilda.
You need to adopt a strategy so that you can take your mind off your anxiety more. I know that is not easy when it takes hold of your life, but please do try.
One of my methods was to use the chat room here are contact someone on msn. Or you can lose yourself in a book, do some housework, anything that distracts.

Hello Mathilde.
Having anxiety and panic is very isolating and distressing and moving form some panic to daily anxiety is very scary.
However do be reassured that you are not alone and that the symptoms you have are shared by many ...

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Hi Mathilda,
I too suffer from the dizziness. I just recently posted about it on the boards. This anxiety monster is a terrible thing, but I have found there are alot of really nice people here who are always willing to help or just relate to your problems. The dizzy spells are my biggest thing , besides the heart racing that I get at night, wakes me out of sound sleep! I recently ordered a book by Claire Weekes, I havent' received it yet, but everyone says, it really helps. Please feel free to PM me anytime.
Best Wishes,
Terri Lynn
