:Dwell obviously places like stockport, glossop and buxton have been mentioned - i am familiar with them, but for me somewhere nearer to wilmslow would be better - being someone who doesnt ge tout much though, i dont really know anywhere except tatton park in knutsford came to mind? but only if it suits others - i would attempt a meet in the north west, as ive wanted to go to others but didnt make it - only thing with tatton is that its great when its sunny, but not really great when its raining - plus its usually heaving when its nice at the weekend, but on the upside - you can bring your dogs?:shrug:but im sure other ppl have got ideas too?:yesyes:id also be interested in a support group locally, but obviously i wont travel - so that sort of rules that out:doh:

Do you live near Wilmslow? I live in Wilmslow and there are hundreds of places there for a meet,off on my hols tomorrow for a week but can sort it when I get back.

:blush:hey all, well wilmslow is too far for me to come without hubby,(which really with things strained between us id rather come alone - but that really restricts where i can go) and saturday night in a restaraunt with a bunch of strangers is a step too far at the mo - id struggle with ppl who werent strangers btw:blush:

im more up for something a bit more relaxed with more freedom for movement, which was why i suggested tatton park in knutsford - but if anyone wants to get together in warrington, or actually does fancy tatton park, im okay for that aswell - still would be nice to make contacts in the local area though - wenlast, im not in wilmslow, im in warrington:winks:

Hello all, I would like to meetup and make friends with others, I have panic disorder and agoraphobia, the panic attacks have become alot better but the agoraphobia is being stubborn, I can travel upto about 80miles, can anyone manage one day next weekend, perhaps have abite to eat somewhere?

Hello, from what I can see we have Stockport, Warrington, Chorley, Stoke-on-Trent, Blackburn, Chester, Glossop, Buxton, Runcorn, Liverpool and Southport. We might have to split the group into 2 to make if fair for everyone. We could do with a place that isn't going to be too busy but enough people so we feel safe, I'll have a look around the internet to find somewhere in Wilmslow where we can get a drink and a bite to eat - it will make it more sociable if we meet for food and drink. Is anyone free on Sunday and does anyone have any suggestions on a cafe or pub? Just had a thought, if anyone can make it on Sunday list your name on here then I will send you a pm with a venue and time - this is for safety reasons. The venue will be in a public place and you can bring a friend or partner if it makes you feel any better.
