effexor side effects

Hi everyone,

I've been on effexor (http://www.dailystrength.org/treatments/Effexor) 75 mg twice a day for about 6 weeks now. The two main side effects I am getting are nausea and headache. I know these are two common side effects with this med, but I'm just wondering if anyone else experienced one of both of these symptoms with effexor (http://www.dailystrength.org/treatments/Effexor) too. I'm hoping that eventually the side effects will go away. I was on Lexapro (http://www.dailystrength.org/treatments/Lexapro) for about a year in 2008-2009 and didn't have any noticeable side effects with it, but eventually it stopped being effective as far as controlling my anxiety.

Hi.
I have had the same,so i went off them and went on Lexotan i found these drugs worked for me,maybe you could up the dosage of your Lexapro,I did with mine and it is still working for me.If not see your doc, you may need something different,it is trial and error with meds,what works for some may not work for you.Good luck:)Ronny
