Red spot on crease of arm

Hi,

A few weeks ago I had a blood test to check my thyroid.
I have quite deep veins but the doctor was really good and got the blood first time around.
I had no bruising or redness after which I was quite surprised by.
About 1-2 weeks after I noticed a red spot on the crease of my arm, exactly where the blood was taken. It's not sore to touch and isn't bright red, just like a faded red and fairly small. I'm worried as I think it may be a clot. Can you develop clots after blood tests? I'm going to go see my doc soon to be on the safe side but just thought someone might be able to put my mind at rest until then.

Hi, I had a bruise after the blood was taken for my thyroid test and it took about a week to clear and is now back to normal, so I think your mark will disappear as well, its just the way its affecting you as your veins are deeper seated.
