recurrent depressive disorder

I saw a psychiatrist in October, and I asked my GP the other week what his diagnosis of me was.
Recurrent Depressive Disorder.
I was wondering if anyone else has this diagnosis?

I have being diagnosed recently as having "mild depression" but I don't fully agree with the this 'label' so I am ignoring it.

At the end of the day it is just a phrase that means we suffer from depression.

I went to the doctor's once many years ago and he said you no longer suffer panic attacks you now have panic disorder and I thought "wow that sounds much more serious". At the end of the day, however, it is just a diagnosis and the cure and recovery are the same.

I hope that makes sense?
