Bruising/soreness after blood test

Hello,

I had an arterial blood test (blood taken from arteries) on Monday and today I noticed there is a yellow bruise around the area and it is very tender (that is what made me take notice of it as something touched it and it felt sore)

Is this normal? I don't want to panic about it, but I am getting there.

Totally normal Samantha.

I have had many arterial blood tests done over the years and you should see the bruises that I'm left with!

Don't worry yourself and remember that it's normal for them to take a while to fade, sometimes a couple of weeks.

It's very normal. I had blood tests done recently and the bruise was awful, it was yellow, purple, blue, it was horrible! It didn't start to go away for about 10 days!!! Don't worry about it, it's completely normal.
