Last week I had a very low ache in my back, just on the bones above my bottom. I noticed it the day after sitting on a very hard chair for about 8 hours on and off so put it down to that. Then yesterday it happened again, all my lower back started throbing so I went to bed with a hot water bottle and the ache eased.

I woke this morning and the ache wasn't there, but after doing some housework it started again. I especially notice it when I am sitting down. I have been doing alot of sitting recently as I have been on bed rest, so sitting in bed with laptop on my legs:D I thought it could possibly be realted to that, and maybe sciatica but there is no pain actually in my bottom or legs.

Does anyone else suffer from this? any advice? I am taking neurofen and trying not to sit for long periods. I am just unsure why I am getting this. I have had a very heavy period the last few days, possibly hormone related? It is the type of ache you get in your back during pregnancy. Very strange.
