Really dont know whats going on with my calf

Been stuggling for 3 and half weeks with my calf started off with an ache now its a constant sharp soreness pain. Its really affecting my life:weep: struggin taking my son 2 school cant walk far without bein in agony. On co-codimal work for abit then in pain again. A clots been ruled out and had a bone xray which came bk ok. Really need 2 get this sorted 2moz.

Where does it hurt? Upper calf muscle? Lower calf muscle? Shin?

I thought that the consultant has advised returning to your GP, and 'suspects something vascular' ?

If you don't mind me asking, do you smoke, are you very overweight, hows your diet and do you exercise ? I know, lots of questions.....but leg vascular problems are more common in smokers and those who are overweight.

Yeah im sligtly overweight and do smoke but not as much as i used too. Well my doc dosent think its vascular as he said my pulses in feet were fine. Just want it sorted been going on so long and has got worse.

Why don't you ask your doctor if there is a pain control clinic at your local hospital? They can assess you and find the right pain control for you. Maybe then you can get some relief because you've had such a hard time recently.

Did you have a cholesterol check ? The pain clinic would be a good idea tbh ..Youve probably pulled something ,it can take weeks sometimes for it to get better ..T/C Sue x

no havent had cholesterol done seen doc today referring me 2 neuro specialist really dont know whats going on:weep: stlll in alot of pain

At least the doctor seems to be trying to find out why you are having this pain, which is a good thing.

yeah with a new doc now he seems 2 listen more. Hes ruled out dvt and cancer so thats good just hope i get sorted
