heartburn

hi all

i have suffered from heartburn or acid indigestion for years now, but i am starting to panic as i am having stomach pains and thinking that its something far more serious going on. i think i suffer from ibs because i have suffered with the bloated stomach, stomach cramps, nausea, needing to do number two,s (especially in the mornings), but i would like to know if heartburn is something that ibs causes also.

would really appreciate any advice.

From what I've read, IBS can cause a lot more symptoms than the general list. Normally, there is pain in lower abdomen but many people also get much discomfort in any area of the stomach including back and chest. If you do a search on this site for posts related to IBS you may get a better and more reassuring understanding of the varied symptoms not stated anywhere else.
