Anxiety and Cholesterol

Has anyone been told the cholesterol is high because of being under stress cause of anxiety???

I think cholesterol levels are influenced by more than one thing. Most people associate high cholesterol with eating too much saturated fat, but there can be other factors involved such as a high liver count, as a result of liver disease whether its through alcoholism or otherwise. Stress produces alot of different responses in our systems, not least adrenaline/noradrenaline, extra cortisol etc...perhaps some of these things can affect cholestrerol levels. But no doctor has ever told me that stress can diectly affect cholesterol levels, is this what you've been told?

no havent been told it but read stress can increase production but i hve read a lot of things that arent true lol
