Does anyone get this?

It started in my legs, then my arms, now pretty much my whole body feels disconnected from my brain.

Of course, I'm still functioning fine, no pain. But movement just feels weird and strange. Even my mouth feels alien to my body. WHAT!?!

Its like my brain is constantly on a level above normal all the time. Like its on a constant state of alert. Its exhausting!

Perhaps it's depersonalisation. I had this a few years back and it was awful. Another symptom of anxiety disorder I'm afraid...

I think it's closely related to derealisation too and it can be a side effect of some ADs.

It will pass. The trick is not to focus on it too much and just get on with life as best you can.

Good luck

yep. sounds like depersonalization. I have had this happen during panic attacks and it's surely not fun. Neither is derealization. Like the above poster said, as hard as it is, the trick is not to focus on it. You -have- to distract yourself.
