Mirtazipine and odema

Hi has anyone suffered from any fluid retention with mirtazipine?? The first couple of days I took it (just over a week ago) I had swollen hands and my body just felt really heavy. Then I was ok for a few days....today I have it again?? I know it says you can have this as a side effect on the patient leaflet but just curious as to others experiences. Jo.

No I have not exerienced this. I would chat to your GP when you see him/her and also get your blood pressure checked. Some of the side effects listed are 'rare' and yet many of us have experienced them. I have had vivid nightmares and hallucinations at the beginning and the end of my treatment. It is worth getting it checked out all the same.
